Ingredients for: 1 portion
- 1 chicken breast, skinless
- Sliced Gaspesian ham of your choice
- Sliced or grated cheese of your choice
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Butterfly a chicken breast and flatten it using a rolling pin.
- Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the ham and cheese on the chicken, then fold it closed (use toothpicks if needed).
- Coat the stuffed chicken breast in flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
- Cook in the air fryer at 390°F for about 20 minutes, or bake in the oven on a baking sheet.
