Ingredients for: 1 portion

  • 1 chicken breast, skinless
  • Sliced Gaspesian ham of your choice
  • Sliced or grated cheese of your choice
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Butterfly a chicken breast and flatten it using a rolling pin.
  2. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the ham and cheese on the chicken, then fold it closed (use toothpicks if needed).
  4. Coat the stuffed chicken breast in flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Cook in the air fryer at 390°F for about 20 minutes, or bake in the oven on a baking sheet.
