Macaroni and ham croquette

Ingredients
- 1 cup of macaroni
- 8 Sliced Cheddar-style cheese
- 2 Slices of white ham or Gaspesian ham (You could also use another sliced Gaspesian ham of your choice!)
- Chopped fresh basil, to taste
Preparation
- Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, place 2 slices of cheese. Add some macaroni on top of each slice, then cover again with 1 slice of cheese.
- Place 1 slice of white ham on only one portion.
- Stack the two portions together so that the ham is in the center. Continue cooking for a few minutes.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and let rest for a few minutes. Cut in half, sprinkle with basil if desired, and serve as is or with your favorite dipping sauces!
